For UK users who want a vaporizer that feels like a piece of premium consumer electronics, Evertree carries the full PAX range, plus a few discontinued models still available while stock lasts, with free UK delivery on the lot.
PAX is the San Francisco brand that did for dry herb vaporizers what Apple did for music players. Two Stanford product-design graduates set out in 2007 to build something that looked, felt and behaved like considered consumer hardware rather than a utility tool, and the result reshaped what people expected a portable vaporizer to look like. The lineup has evolved across four generations and several spin-off products, all of which we carry as an authorised UK PAX retailer.

PAX started in 2007 when Stanford product-design graduates Adam Bowen and James Monsees set out to build a better vaporizer. The company launched in San Francisco under the name Ploom, releasing the first PAX vaporizer in 2012 as a loose-leaf device that gained an enthusiastic following well beyond its original audience. In 2015 the company restructured and rebranded as PAX Labs, refocusing the business entirely around the PAX line of dry herb vaporizers.
Three generations of the flagship PAX followed (PAX 2, PAX 3, and the current PAX 4), alongside smaller and more focused models in the Mini and Plus families and the larger-vapour Flow. Throughout, the brand has stuck to the same recipe: aluminium bodies, intuitive single-button controls, conduction or hybrid heating, and the kind of fit-and-finish you’d expect from a premium phone or watch rather than a vape.
The first thing most users notice about a PAX is how it feels in the hand. The aluminium bodies are machined to tight tolerances, the surfaces are anodized to a matte or polished finish that resists fingerprints, and the proportions are dictated by ergonomics rather than the size of whatever battery cell PAX happened to have lying around. PAX has always sat closer to consumer electronics than traditional vape hardware, and the current range reflects the same design ethos that has defined the brand since the original PAX launched in 2012.
The second distinctive is the hardware-first approach. The current PAX range (PAX 4, PAX Flow, PAX Mini 2) puts all the controls directly on the device. Preset heat modes, haptic feedback, and single-button or multi-mode operation depending on the model. There are no menus buried in a phone, no connection required to get a session going. You load the oven, press the button, and the device handles the rest.
The third is consistency across the range. Whether you buy the flagship PAX 4 or the entry-level PAX Mini 2, the operating logic is the same: one or a few buttons, colour-coded temperature feedback, and a machined aluminium body. The PAX 4 and PAX Flow charge directly over USB-C, while the PAX Mini 2 uses PAX’s magnetic USB-C charging cable. That consistency is part of why PAX is easy to recommend to first-time buyers, and part of why long-term PAX users tend to stay with the brand when they upgrade.
The PAX lineup at Evertree splits into two groups. The current range covers PAX’s actively-supported devices: the PAX 4 flagship, the larger-vapour PAX Flow, and the pocket-sized PAX Mini 2. We also still have UK stock of three previous-generation devices that PAX has phased out but that remain genuine PAX products under full warranty: the PAX Plus, the PAX Plus Starter Kit, and the original PAX Mini. These are limited stock and will not be restocked once they sell through. Click any model name to jump to its product page.

The PAX 4 is the latest flagship in the PAX lineup. It’s the most powerful dry herb PAX to date, with a redesigned hybrid heating system that PAX rates at 50% more vapour output than the PAX Mini, PAX 3 or PAX Plus. The oven has been reshaped for easier loading, the lid has been refined for better airflow, and the proprietary magnetic charger has finally been replaced with USB-C.
The PAX 4 runs four preset heat modes with real-time temperature control, which lets you adjust intensity within a session rather than committing to a single setting. Battery life is rated at around 50 minutes of continuous use. Haptic feedback controls confirm input without needing to look at the device. Available in Onyx and Greenstone colourways. The PAX 4 is a dry herb only device and isn’t compatible with the PAX Concentrate Insert.

The PAX Flow is the premium-tier portable in the current range and a distinct model in its own right, built around a different approach to the rest of the lineup. At 135g and built from machined aluminium, it’s solid in the hand without being heavy. The standout feature is the side-loading magnetic oven door that detaches completely, which makes loading easier than reaching down into a top-loaded chamber.
The Flow has five intuitive heat modes covering 180°C to 225°C, including a Bong Mode for water-filtration setups. PAX rates the airflow at six times stronger than the discontinued PAX Plus, which translates to noticeably bigger, smoother draws. Heat-up is around 35 seconds, the battery delivers 30 to 40 minutes of continuous use, and USB-C charging completes in around 40 minutes. The 0.3g herb chamber matches the PAX 4.

The PAX Mini 2 is the second-generation Mini and PAX’s current pocketable entry-level device. (PAX themselves now refer to it as just “PAX Mini” since they’ve discontinued the original. We’re listing it as PAX Mini 2 to keep things clear for buyers who already own the previous version.) The Mini 2 keeps the single-button simplicity of the original but adds four temperature settings instead of one fixed preset, plus the Half Pack Oven Lid in the box for smaller sessions.
It runs on a 1500mAh battery, smaller than the original Mini’s 3000mAh, which was the trade-off PAX made to enlarge the herb chamber back to the standard 0.5g size while keeping the body the same dimensions. Real-world runtime is roughly 60 minutes of continuous use per charge. Charging is handled by PAX’s magnetic USB-C charging cable, which connects to the charging contacts on the device. The package includes a Half Pack Oven Lid that reduces the chamber to 0.25g for users who prefer shorter, more flavourful sessions.
The three devices below have been discontinued by PAX as the lineup moved on to the current range above. They remain excellent vaporizers, covered by the full PAX manufacturer warranty, and we have UK stock available for as long as it lasts. Once it sells through we will not be restocking these models.

The PAX Plus is the complete, fully-loaded version of the PAX Plus, discontinued by PAX as the lineup moved to the PAX 4, PAX Flow and PAX Mini 2, but still available in limited UK stock. It comes with the full accessory set: Concentrate Insert, Half Pack Oven Lid, Multi-Tool, both flat and raised mouthpieces, four oven screens, wire brush and USB charging cable. That means it’s ready for both dry herb and concentrate use straight out of the box, with no additional purchases needed.
It runs four Experience Modes (Stealth, Efficiency, Flavor, Boost) with a 22-second heat-up and a 3300mAh battery rated at up to 2.5 hours of use per charge. The stainless steel oven holds 0.5g of dry herb, or 0.25g with the included Half Pack Oven Lid. For users who want concentrate compatibility in a PAX (the current PAX 4 and Flow are dry herb only), the Plus is the only option remaining in our range, and stock is limited.

The PAX Plus Starter Kit is the more basic bundle of the PAX Plus device, discontinued by PAX alongside the full PAX Plus but available in limited UK stock. It includes the essential accessories to get started with dry herb: flat and raised mouthpieces, oven lid, one oven screen, wire brush and USB charging cable. The Concentrate Insert, Half Pack Oven Lid and Multi-Tool are not included, making this the lower-price entry point into the PAX Plus for users who want dry herb use only.
The device itself is identical to the PAX Plus above, with the same 4 Experience Modes, 22-second heat-up and 3300mAh battery. If you later want concentrate capability or the Half Pack Lid, those can be purchased separately as accessories. Once both versions sell through, the Plus line is out of our range entirely.

The original PAX Mini was the first pocket-sized PAX, designed around single-button operation and one fixed temperature preset. It ran on a larger 3000mAh battery than the Mini 2 (giving roughly 105 minutes of runtime versus the Mini 2’s 60), at the trade-off of a smaller herb chamber. The smaller-chamber-and-bigger-battery balance is what PAX changed in the Mini 2, prioritising the 0.5g standard PAX oven over runtime.
If long battery life matters more to you than chamber capacity and you want the simplest PAX in the range, the original Mini still makes sense as a buying choice. Limited UK stock remains while supplies last.

If you want the newest and most powerful PAX, go with the PAX 4. It’s the flagship, has the latest hybrid heating, and replaces the old magnetic charger with USB-C. It’s the right choice for users upgrading from an older PAX who want the biggest performance leap.
If you want bigger draws, smoother airflow and the convenience of a side-loading oven, the PAX Flow is the premium option in the current range. It’s particularly worth considering if you use a water filtration setup, because the dedicated Bong Mode is a feature PAX specifically built around that use case.
If pocket portability matters more than maximum vapour, the PAX Mini 2 is the right pick. It’s the cleanest entry point into the brand for beginners and the easiest current PAX to throw in a jacket pocket.
If you specifically want dry herb plus concentrate compatibility, the PAX Plus (complete kit) is the version to go for. It includes the Concentrate Insert in the box. The PAX Plus Starter Kit is the same device but without the Concentrate Insert, so it’s dry herb only out of the box. Both are discontinued with limited UK stock remaining. PAX 4 and Flow are dry herb only.
If you want the absolute simplest PAX with the longest battery life in the Mini form factor, the original PAX Mini still makes sense as a buying choice while limited stock lasts.
Evertree is an authorised UK retailer for PAX. That means every device on this page is genuine current-stock from the official distribution channel and ships from our UK warehouse rather than a grey-market import. That applies equally to the discontinued PAX Plus, Plus Starter Kit and original PAX Mini. The discontinuation only means PAX itself isn’t producing new units. The stock we hold is genuine and covered by the full PAX manufacturer warranty.
PAX warranties differ by device. The PAX Flow carries a 2-year limited warranty, extendable to 4 years by registering on pax.com within 30 days of purchase. For the PAX 4, that is 2 years extendable to 3 years on registration within 30 days. PAX Mini 2 comes with a 2-year standard warranty. Worth noting if you are considering the discontinued Plus: it carries a 10-year limited warranty. Register the original PAX Mini within 30 days and its standard 2-year warranty extends to 3 years. All claims go directly to PAX. If you have an issue, go to pax.com/pages/faq and open a customer support ticket. PAX will work through troubleshooting with you from there.
All PAX orders ship free within the UK. Every device sits above our £59 free shipping threshold, so delivery costs you nothing extra at checkout. Standard shipping is Royal Mail tracked 48-hour service, with a paid next-day upgrade available at checkout if you need it faster.
We carry the full range of PAX replacement parts and accessories for every device in this lineup, including replacement oven lids, mouthpieces (flat and raised), Concentrate Inserts, screens, charging cables and the Half Pack Oven Lid. That means when a part wears out or you want to expand your kit, you’re sourcing from UK stock rather than waiting on a transatlantic delivery. The team here uses PAX devices daily, so if you’d like a recommendation on which model fits your setup, get in touch through the site.
PAX has been one of the dominant brands in premium portable dry herb vaporizers for over a decade. The combination of aluminium build quality, intuitive single-button controls, and design that fits in alongside premium consumer electronics has made them a consistent top recommendation. The current PAX 4 and PAX Flow extend that reputation with hybrid heating and USB-C charging.
For most UK buyers, the PAX 4 is the best all-round choice. It has the newest hybrid heating system, USB-C charging and the strongest vapour output of any current PAX. If bigger draws and smoother airflow matter most, the PAX Flow is the better pick, particularly for users who want a side-loading oven or use a water pipe. For beginners or anyone who wants a smaller, simpler device at a lower price, the PAX Mini 2 is the easiest entry point into the brand.
PAX (originally Ploom, rebranded as PAX Labs in 2015) is a San Francisco company. It was founded in 2007 by Adam Bowen and James Monsees, two product-design graduates who met at Stanford University in 2005.
The PAX Mini 2 is the newer, current version. It adds four temperature settings (the original had only one fixed preset), includes the Half Pack Oven Lid for smaller sessions, and uses the standard 0.5g PAX chamber size. The original PAX Mini has a larger 3000mAh battery (giving longer runtime of around 105 minutes versus the Mini 2’s 60), single temperature preset, and a smaller chamber. PAX has discontinued the original Mini. We use “PAX Mini 2” to keep buyers clear on which version they’re getting, while PAX themselves now refer to the new model as simply the “PAX Mini.”
No. The current PAX range has no companion app. PAX previously offered a Bluetooth app for older models including the PAX 3, but this has been discontinued. All current devices (PAX 4, PAX Flow, PAX Mini 2) are controlled entirely on the hardware itself, using preset heat modes and single-button or multi-button controls. No phone connection is needed to use any PAX device.
Yes. PAX discontinued the PAX Plus and PAX Plus Starter Kit as the lineup moved on to the current PAX 4, PAX Flow and PAX Mini 2. The discontinuation only affects new manufacturing. The existing UK stock at Evertree is genuine and covered by the full PAX manufacturer warranty. Once our remaining stock sells through, we will not be restocking these models.
The PAX Mini 2 is the cleanest entry point. It combines single-button operation, four heat presets, a pocket-sized design, PAX’s magnetic USB-C charging cable and the lowest price in the current range. It also includes the Half Pack Oven Lid in the box, which helps beginners get used to smaller sessions before working up to a full bowl.
The PAX Plus (the complete kit version) is the only PAX in our range that includes the Concentrate Insert in the box, making it ready for concentrate use out of the box. Note that the PAX Plus Starter Kit does not include the Concentrate Insert, so it is dry herb only out of the box. Both the PAX 4 and PAX Flow are dry herb only devices, and both Plus versions are discontinued with limited UK stock remaining.
It depends on the device. The PAX 4 delivers around 50 minutes per charge, the PAX Flow 30 to 40 minutes, the PAX Mini 2 around 60 minutes, the discontinued PAX Plus up to 2.5 hours (largest battery in the range), and the original PAX Mini around 105 minutes. The PAX 4 and PAX Flow charge directly over USB-C. The PAX Mini 2 uses PAX’s magnetic USB-C charging cable, while the discontinued PAX Plus and original PAX Mini use PAX’s proprietary magnetic charging system.
PAX warranties differ by device. PAX Flow: 2 years, extendable to 4 years by registering on pax.com within 30 days of purchase. PAX 4: 2 years, extendable to 3 years on registration within 30 days. PAX Mini 2: 2 years standard. Discontinued PAX Plus: 10-year warranty. Original PAX Mini: 2 years, extendable to 3 years on registration within 30 days. All claims go directly to PAX via pax.com/pages/faq.
Free UK delivery on every PAX order, dispatched from our UK warehouse via Royal Mail tracked 48-hour service. The entire PAX range, including the discontinued Plus and original Mini while stocks last, qualifies for our £59 free shipping threshold. A paid next-day upgrade is available at checkout. We also carry the full range of PAX replacement parts and accessories for every device in the lineup.
