The G Pen 510 Original Battery is a good step up from a basic 510 battery because it gives you more choice without making things complicated. You can simply inhale to activate it, or use the button when you want manual control. It works with most standard 510-thread oil cartridges and is small enough to carry easily.
You get three voltage settings: 3.2V, 3.6V and 3.8V. Start at the lowest setting for a lighter draw, then move up when you want more power. This is useful because different cartridges can perform better at different voltages, rather than forcing you to use one fixed setting every time.
The ten-second preheat mode runs at a gentle 1.8V. It helps warm the cartridge when the contents have become thick or the device has been left somewhere cold. The digital screen shows the selected voltage and battery level, so you can check the important details at a glance.
The choice between inhale activation and button control is what makes this battery especially practical. You can keep things quick and simple for normal use, while the button, preheat and voltage settings remain available when you need them. A fixed-output battery may suit you better if you never want to adjust anything.
