The 58% RH level gives stored herbs a slightly drier feel than Boveda 62%, which makes it a good choice if you prefer material that breaks apart more easily. It helps protect aroma, texture and terpene freshness without leaving herbs feeling overly moist.
Each 8g pack works well for personal storage, smaller jars and travel setups where you want reliable moisture control without checking humidity levels every day. Instead of guessing whether your herbs are too dry or too damp, you can place the pack in your sealed container and let it manage the environment around your material.
Boveda uses two way humidity control to balance moisture inside your container. When the air becomes too dry, the pack can release moisture. When there is too much moisture inside the container, it can absorb it. In an airtight environment, Boveda packs are accurate to +/-2% RH of the level printed on the pack.
There is no soaking, refilling, charging or setup needed. Open the protective wrapper, place the Boveda 58% 8g pack with your herbs and close the lid. The pack measures approximately 6.99cm x 6.35cm, so it fits easily into most small storage jars, tins and stash containers.
In a well sealed container, the pack usually lasts around 2 to 4 months. Replace it when the entire pack becomes firm or hard to the touch. If you keep spare packs unopened, they can last up to 2 years, making them handy to keep ready for future storage.
