The ceramic non-stick coating is applied inside and out, helping reduce sticking, scraping, and residue buildup compared with a standard metal grinder. It is also Teflon and PTFE-free, with an FDA-approved coating for a cleaner non-stick finish.
Inside, the SLX V2.5 Small uses 27 trapezoid-shaped teeth, with four cutting edges on each tooth. These teeth work with carefully designed drop-through holes to shred material evenly and let it fall naturally into the chamber below. The result is an airy, consistent grind that works well for rolling or packing into glass. The rare earth magnetic lid keeps the top secure, while the grip ridges make the grinder easy to open, close, and turn during regular use.

Rubbing alcohol or acetone can be used on the ceramic coating, although it may affect the appearance of the logo. Avoid metal tools, use a toothpick or another soft implement instead, and do not leave the grinder soaking in liquid for long periods.
